BMW voted best fleet manufacturer

When you drive a company car, whether it be through a car leasing contract or not, it is important that you have a model from a quality manufacturer. This ensures that your car looks its best, while also giving you low overhead and running costs.

There are various benefits to driving a new car, and BMW's 5 Series has been voted as New Company Car of the Year from people who know what makes and breaks a good professional vehicle. Fleet managers voted the BMW 5 Series as the New Company Car of the Year, while the German manufacturer won the Fleet Manufacturer of the Year.

The two prestigious awards saw BMW come out on top in an online poll for Fleet News readers. The accolades are especially reserved for professionals who manage a group of drivers to ensure that only the best models are recognised.

Fleet managers were sent a unique code with their copy of Fleet News allowing them to take part and to vote just once for their favourite manufacturer and car.

Most of the awards are voted for by carefully selected panels of experts, whose discussions are overseen by Deloitte to ensure the judging process is fair and unbiased.

On the two headline award wins, Fleet News editor-in-chief Stephen Briers said: "The BMW 5 Series has been freshened with a broader range of diesel versions which reduce running costs, but one thing that hasn't changed is its peerless driver appeal. The 5 Series remains the benchmark in the sector."

He added that the German manufacturer "continues to set the standard when it comes to providing a range of outstanding, low cost models backed with the excellent level of support needed to satisfy fleets".

Mr Briers said that BMW has managed to remain the most desirable brand for both fleets and their drivers.

UK Carline offer a number of BMW models, including the 5 Series, for personal and professional needs, which could give you a cost effective way to get behind the wheel of an award-winning car.
