Businesses will soon have a chance to learn more about fleet management and corporate motoring. The UK’s largest free motoring exhibition, Motorexpo, is set to kick off on Monday, June 10th and run until Sunday, June 16th. The week-long event is projected to be one of the biggest shows this year, featuring a number of new ranges from some of the biggest names in the automotive industry.

The upcoming 18th annual Motorexpo, supported by AFCO, will be the first to focus on commercial fleets. As part of the event, AFCO will host a two-hour seminar called ‘Fleet Management in a Changing World’, where numerous speakers will provide helpful tips for operators. Advice will focus on a broad variety of topics, including effective management and operational strategy. A number of expert speakers will lead the seminar on Friday, June 14th.

Non-ACFO members are invited and encouraged to attend the event, which will be held in Canary Wharf, London’s renowned business district.

AFCO director and fleet manager at Barclays Bank, Caroline Sandall, hopes the seminar will attract a large fleet-orientated audience. She added: “We particularly hope that employees who may be relatively new in taking on fleet responsibility and those who only have corporate transport as part of their job role will attend the seminar and take the opportunity to increase their knowledge bank.”

A record 460,000 people are expected to attend the event. Luxury models from Porsche will be on display, allowing guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel and test drive their dream car. Other prestigious makes from Infiniti, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz will be showcased.

Chief executive officer (CEO) of Motorexpo, said: “The breadth of cars on display at the show will give fleet operators the ideal opportunity to look at, explore, and even drive a variety of cars whilst here – potentially informing their next big fleet purchase.

Should fleet operators find the perfect model to complete their executive fleet at MotorExpo, like the fuel efficient Mercedes-Benz C Class Diesel Saloon, the next step is to contact UK Carline. Competitive car leasing deals are available for countless top-range models.
