The video below is a teaser of the final concept set to be fully unveiled in March next year.<\/p>\n<p>The video teases a wireless charging station that looks to be mounted in a kerb &#8211; and presumably will be able to be installed in your driveway too. This comes hot off the heels of Nissan showing off a 7kW wireless charging device last month that could easily accommodate overnight charging for larger battery packs including the 60kW pack currently in development in Japan &#8211; which could give a full-charge driving range of up to 310 miles.<\/p>\n<p>The teaser features the Nissan Leaf, the best-selling electric car in the UK &#8211; although it&#8217;s easy to assume that similar systems will exist for Nissan&#8217;s other electric models. It&#8217;s not surprising Nissan are keen to stay at the forefront of wireless charging tech. There&#8217;ll be a demonstration of this wireless charging tech at the Geneva Motor Show next year, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;As we look ahead at the next 10 years, autonomous cars, artificial intelligence and greater connectivity will come at great pace &#8211; and it is our job as architects to inspire and support that change.
