German car maker BMW was the big winner at this year\u2019s Fleet News Awards, with two of the manufacturer\u2019s vehicles honoured at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

In the biggest Fleet News Awards to date, the BMW 3 Series was presented with the Best Premium Car prize and the BMW 5 Series walked away with the Best Executive Car trophy.<\/p>\n

However, the largest honour to come BMW\u2019s way at the 25th annual Fleet News Awards was the fact that the new BMW 3 Series was voted to take home the prestigious title of being this year\u2019s Best New Company Car.<\/p>\n

As if all of this wasn’t enough, BMW was proud to take the title of Fleet Manufacturer of the Year to round off its haul of four trophies at this year\u2019s awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

Looking at the new BMW 3 Series, judges of the 2013 Fleet News Awards stated: \u201cLow running costs, class-leading residual values and the most efficient models in this category make the 3 Series stand out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a great car to drive and the auto versions are equally as economical and impressive, which opens up a whole new market for this car.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the judging panel was also keen to stress that \u201cthe 5 Series is a great all-rounder while the balance of economy and performance in the Efficient Dynamics version is class-leading\u201d.<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cStrong residuals, short lead times, fresh styling and an outstanding drive, the 5 Series is an executive car that appeals to young and old.\u201d<\/p>\n
