To celebrate the arrival of 2013, Japanese car giant Suzuki has announced that it is giving its popular Grand Vitara a stylish update.<\/p>\n

Both the inside and outside of the vehicle are being overhauled, to present drivers with a different take on the 4×4 when compared to its predecessor.<\/p>\n

For example, the 2013 Grand Vitara comes complete with a more angular front grille and bumper design, while new alloy wheels are sure to catch the eye. These wheels will be available in 17- and 18-inch diameters.<\/p>\n

Black headlight inlets help to give the refreshed vehicle a more aggressive stance over previous models, while Suzuki has bowed to demand and replaced the emergency tyre repair kit with a ‘space-saver’ temporary spare wheel.<\/p>\n

Fans of the Grand Vitara series will also notice that the new model is 170mm longer than previous three-door varieties and 200mm longer than five-door alternatives.<\/p>\n

Speaking of trim levels, Suzuki has decided to offer the 2013 Grand Vitara as a three-door-only SZ3, a three- or five-door SZ4 and a five-door-only SZ5.<\/p>\n

Those who opt for the latter will be treated for their investment by being presented with a 6.1-inch colour entertainment system as standard. This technology is the go-to place for accessing in-car music, which can be played via a SD card, CD or through the radio.<\/p>\n

What’s more, the 2013 Grand Vitara five-door SZ5 also comes packed with a Garmin satellite navigation system \u2013 drivers never need to fear getting lost on the road again.<\/p>\n
