Ready to launch in May 2022 the Greater Manchester council have started to install the cameras and signage to help drivers be aware of the Clean Air Zones (CAZ)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With \u00a3120million of Government funding, it is hoped to help local businesses, organisations and people to change to cleaner vehicles so that they can travel within the CAZ without being slammed with heavy daily charges. Motorbikes and Private Cars will not be affected, but some types of the most polluting commercial and passenger vehicles will have to pay to travel in the zone ie: LGV, HGV\u00a0 buses, coaches, hackney cabs, private hire vehicles and minibuses.\u00a0\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no part of Greater Manchester not taking part in the CAZ as all TEN local authorities have agreed to the Clean Air Plan.
