Mercedes-Benz has used the 2012 LA Auto Show as a tremendous platform in which to unveil two intriguing new vehicles.
\nThe German car giant is looking far into the future with its Ener-G-Force concept car, while keeping in the present with the 2014 SLS AMG Black Series.
\nRepresenting the next chapter in the Mercedes-Benz G-Class range, the hydrogen-powered Ener-G-Force has been developed as part of the Los Angeles Design Challenge 2012’s ‘Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025’ task.
\nAs can be gathered from the name of the competition, the vehicle is not expected to launch until at least 2025. However, drivers have been given the opportunity to get up close and personal with the ground-breaking motor in LA this week.<\/p>\n

Upon first glimpse of the futuristic car, motorists are sure to be taken aback by the fact that Mercedes-Benz has fitted the vehicle with large wheels and tyres, as well as opting for a low roofline design.
\nG-shaped LED headlamps and a matte-silver finish are also features sure to catch the eye, while a ‘hydro-tech converter’ presents the Ener-G-Force with a unique electric drive.
\nKeeping more to the modern day, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series looks to be the choice of motor for drivers hoping to capture the need for speed.
\nA tuned 6.2-liter V-8 engine enables the vehicle to boast a phenomenal 622bhp and up to 468 lb-ft of torque, while being able to strike 60mph from rest in just 3.5 seconds.
\nIt is not all about power with the new SLS AMG Black Series though, as a bright yellow paint scheme, complete with vent-laden and carbon fibre bodywork features, also helps to make this car a beautiful piece of vehicle manufacturing.
