Peugeot and Pudsey the Bear have teamed up to help celebrate this year’s Children In Need fundraising effort.
\nThe French car giant has pulled out all the stops in order to get involved in the BBC’s annual telethon, which takes place tonight (November 16th).
\nOne aspect of the drive is the opportunity for people to see Pudsey the Bear replacing the famous Peugeot lion as the face of the vehicle brand for 24 hours.
\nFull-page advertisings of the Children In Need mascot standing on a sideways pose with his arms up in the air in a ‘K’ stance are being printed into today’s editions of The Sun, The Times and the Metro newspapers.
\nAll of Peugeot’s social media channels will also be decorated with the charity-themed take on the well-known logo, as Pudsey takes over.
\n“Peugeot are extremely proud to partner with a charity as iconic and important as BBC Children In Need,” Morgan Lecoupeur, UK marketing director for Peugeot, was keen to stress.
\n“In this, our first year of partnership, we wanted to drive home the message that everyone at Peugeot is supporting the charity and the excellent work they do for disadvantaged children.”<\/p>\n

Details of the advertising campaign comes soon after Peugeot set up the website Pudseysdreamwheels.co.uk and tasked members of the public to create a standout car design based on the new 208 supermini.
\nThe top ten efforts will be ranked through an online poll in the near future, with the designer of the winning entry being awarded the latest Peugeot 208 on December 8th.
\nDrivers who miss out on first place in the competition can still experience a Peugeot 308 1.6 Hdi 92 Access five-door diesel hatchback for as little as \u00a3187.32 per month on a car leasing<\/a> deal.
\nThis particular model is able to hit 62mph from rest in just 12.4 seconds while offering an economical 67.3mpg. CO2 emissions are also restricted to 110 g\/km to further help protect the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
