The Skoda Enyaq<\/a> is one of the best electric SUVs on the market today and for good reason.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s good to drive, has a premium-feeling interior, is practical, and you can get it with a choice of powertrains to suit a wide range of buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It sits in the midsize electric SUV class, which is brimming with choice, but the Enyaq manages to outperform in almost every area against its rivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if you\u2019re thinking about purchasing one of these great EVs, what else do you need to know?

We\u2019ve compiled a list of everything you need to know about the Skoda Enyaq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a choice of SUV and Coupe bodystyles\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Coupe brings a sleeker take <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Enyaq is available with a choice of two body styles. The first is the standard five-door SUV with its boxy exterior profile and rear end; however, did you know that the Skoda Enyaq<\/a> is also available as a sleek Coupe?
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, customers have the option to choose, with the Enyaq Coupe featuring a lower roofline and a swooping rear tailgate to give a much sportier look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coupe is available with a choice of two trim levels and can be specified with a number of battery packs, too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It rivals the likes of the Cupra Tavascan<\/a> and Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback<\/a>, with all of those cars sharing the same platform as the Skoda.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underneath, the Enyaq is available with a choice of battery packs, which makes it competitively priced and gives the consumer more choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entry-level car comes equipped with a 63kWh unit and an electric<\/a> motor, which produces 148bhp and 310Nm of torque.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move up the range and there is the option of a larger 82kWh battery pack with an electric motor that pumps out 207bhp and 545Nm of torque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, flagship models can be specified with the same 82kWh unit, but with an additional electric motor fitted to the rear axle to give the car all-wheel drive. This setup generates the same power as the standard 82kWh model, but benefits from added traction on slippery conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of charging, all models support DC rapid-charging, with the smaller 63kWh battery being charged up at speeds of 165kW and the 82kWh unit can manage up to 175kW. That means that 10 to 80 per cent top-ups will take 24 minutes for the former and 28 minutes for the latter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want more performance from your Enyaq, then Skoda<\/a> has the answer with the \u2018vRS\u2019 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its exterior features upgrades such as black wing mirror caps, 20-inch alloy wheels, vRS badging and the car is available with a bespoke paint colour called \u2018Hyper Green\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the sporty theme continues with a sports steering wheel, Lime Green stitching and body-hugging bucket seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underneath, the car comes equipped with an 84kWh battery with dual electric motors to create all-wheel drive. This setup produces a total of 335bhp and the car can do 60mph in 5.2 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skoda claims the Enyaq vRS can travel up to 340 miles on a single charge and that 185kW DC rapid charging is compatible, allowing for a 10 to 80 per cent charge to take 26 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s very practical\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of which model you go for, all Enyaqs are very practical with rear-seat space more than acceptable for average-sized adults with plenty of head and legroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin itself is full of handy storage areas with deep door bins, a large glovebox, a centre bin below the centre console and additional storage under the centre armrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boot space is good too, with the Enyaq offering 585 litres of space or 1,710 litres with the rear seats folded down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you go for the Coupe variant, its luggage capacity drops to 570 litres and 1,610 litres with the rear bench folded down, which is still very large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like with all Skoda models in the range, the Enyaq features handy features such as an ice scraper in the boot lid, a parking ticket holder on the windscreen and umbrellas located in the front doors. Plus, the handy charging cable net that hangs under the rear parcel shelf is a great piece of design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has a lot of competition\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Enyaq sits in the medium electric SUV category and is going up against a lot of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you go for the SUV variant, it will be directly competing against the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV6, Volkswagen ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coupe model, on the other hand is going up against the Cupra Tavascan, the Volkswagen ID.5<\/a> and Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are five trim levels, consisting of SE L, Edition, Sportline, Sportline 85x and vRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entry-level car features 19-inch alloy wheels, a 13-inch infotainment screen, heated front seats and steering wheel and tri-zone climate control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mid-level Edition includes extras such as matrix LED headlights and an electric driver\u2019s seat with a massage function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sportline cars boast equipment such as a head-up display, a premium Canton audio system and sports suspension, while the Sportline 85x benefits from the additional electric motor to make all-wheel drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the flagship vRS adds 20-inch black alloy wheels, Skoda\u2019s Dynamic Chassis Control and bespoke interior trim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
