Car leasing<\/a> customers find it easier than most drivers to change their vehicles at regular intervals to take advantage of the latest developments in the motoring industry.<\/p>\n

It is an advantage of contract hire that cannot be ignored, especially as car manufacturers are constantly revising their models and updating their ranges.<\/p>\n

Vauxhall is the latest to unveil exciting new developments.<\/p>\n

Hot on the exhaust pipes of the GTC BiTurbo, the company has announced that it is adding another two high-performance 2.0 diesels with 195PS and 400 Nm torque to its existing Astra range.<\/p>\n

As petrol prices rise in the UK, many motorists are looking to switch to the more efficient fuel and the new range from Vauxhall ensures that they will not need to compromise on performance.<\/p>\n

The British-built Astra BiTurbo five-door Hatchback and Sports Tourer will combine blistering acceleration, great everyday practicality and impressive sustainability – the estate version will even be the most powerful in its class.<\/p>\n

Both of the models can surpass speeds in excess of 135mph and can shoot from 0-60mph in less than eight seconds.<\/p>\n

Twin turbo technology is rare in spacious and luxurious cars, but the Astra uses a sequential turbocharging system, with the smaller unit accelerating quickly at lower speeds to eliminate turbo lag and gives 320Nm of torque from 1,250rpm.<\/p>\n

However, none of these impressive statistics detract from the main reason that car leasing customers may switch to diesel-power alternatives.<\/p>\n

The economic benefits are still there, with low carbon dioxide emissions of 134g\/km and fuel consumption coming in at a combined 55.4mpg. The engineers have also managed to fit the cars with Vauxhall’s fuel-saving Start\/Stop technology.<\/p>\n

Each of the BiTurbo versions come equipped with a range of features including 18-inch alloy wheels, an exterior styling pack, twin rear exhausts and alloy sports pedals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
