This year, there are set to be several new additions to the van segment which could shake things up. Here, we\u2019re going to check out the vans that you need to keep your eyes peeled for in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the big-hitters for 2026 is set to be the Kia PV5<\/a>. It\u2019s an electric van which takes Kia\u2019s usual clever use of tech and applies it to be a big, spacious and practical new model. Available in both cargo and passenger specifications, the PV5 can be engineered to suit all types of jobs – you can even get it kitted out with full racking systems for extra storage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long Range versions offer up to 258 miles of range between trips to the plug, while a rapid charge from 10 to 80 per cent can be sorted in around 30 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farizon SV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You may not have heard of Farizon<\/a> just yet, but it\u2019s a brand you\u2019ll surely start seeing a lot more of. Farizon was created by carmaking giant Geely, the same firm which currently backs brands such as Volvo, Polestar and Lotus. Farizon kicks things off in the UK with the SV, an electric van which brings a range of up to 247 miles in big-battery versions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you\u2019d want from a van, the SV can be configured via a variety of length and height options, while vehicle-to-load technology means that you can power tools or charge up devices via the van\u2019s on-board power supply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volkswagen Transporter Sportline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Transporter<\/a> is one of the best-known names in the van segment, having provided upmarket and practical transportation for decades. The Transporter\u2019s car-like driving position is what has always made it such a hit with owners, too, and makes it feel more like a large SUV than your typical van from behind the wheel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sportline brings – as the name suggests – a sportier take on the usual Transporter format, with dynamic wheels, redesigned bumpers and a smart-looking interior. The good news is that it still gets the same great levels of practicality as the regular Transporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toyota Hilux Electric<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alright, so it\u2019s not quite a van, but it could prove to be just as practical as one. The new Hilux Electric marks a bold new direction for this typically rugged pick-up truck, bringing battery power to one of the most trusted names around. With a 59.2kWh battery, the Hliux Electric has a claimed range of up to 150 miles, while Toyota<\/a> says it is targeting a \u2018best in class\u2019 charge time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hilux Electric will still be practical, however, thanks to a towing capacity of up to 1,600kg and a payload of 715kg. It\u2019s one to watch in 2026, that\u2019s for sure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peugeot Expert Sport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Peugeot Expert<\/a> is a solid, honest and hard-working van that you\u2019ll see plenty of on the roads. However, this French firm has injected the Expert with some extra dynamic flair through a new Sport model, bringing larger wheels and some smart-looking diamond-quilted seats inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll still get the same great load area and efficient engines as you\u2019d find in the standard Expert. In the Sportline, you\u2019re getting a whole lot more character to go alongside it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volkswagen Multivan Camper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volkswagen\u2019s<\/a> California is a camper van known by nearly everyone in the UK. However, the regular California has already been fully converted by the German brand, meaning that there\u2019s no real scope for any extra customisation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Multivan Camper base provides converters a blank canvas on which to start their projects. It\u2019s the same underpinnings as the California, but with its completely empty rear load area and boarded-out interior, it\u2019s ready to go wherever your designs will take it. Volkswagen still equips it with sliding doors, an opening roof and two chairs up front, however, so it\u2019s not completely stripped out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
