After months of teasers, the new CUPRA Raval has been revealed, showcasing this Spanish brand\u2019s future electric ambitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here at UK Carline<\/a>, we\u2019re big fans of all things CUPRA<\/a>, from the efficient Born<\/a> right the way through to the striking Tavascan<\/a>. The Raval promises to break new ground for the brand, though, and we\u2019ve got all of the details you need to know about it. Let\u2019s take a look.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh new design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Raval is here to rival the Renault 5<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

CUPRA has always been known for its daring car design and the Raval is no different. Up front, there are the eye-catching three-zone headlights and an illuminated CUPRA<\/a> logo. Unlike other logos of this type, the one on the Raval has its outline lit up, so you\u2019ll be able to see that CUPRA sign when the car goes by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the rear, we\u2019ve got a full-width lightbar and another illuminated CUPRA logo which, at the back, is completely lit up in red. It helps to give the whole car a very futuristic look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variety of battery and motor options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are some intricate alloy wheel designs available <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Raval will hit the road later this year with a variety of battery and motor combinations available to buyers. For starters, you\u2019ve got the choice of either a 37kWh or 52kWh battery, with the latter bringing a range of up to 280 miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also four power outputs to choose from, going from 114bhp to 223bhp in the \u2018hot\u2019 VZ model – but more on that shortly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Range-topping VZ model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As well as that high power output, the range-topping Raval VZ will also get a host of sporty tweaks to make it even more engaging to drive than the standard model. Alongside a specific engine tune, the VZ will get a 15mm drop in ride height, as well as a wider track to accommodate larger tyres and help improve cornering. There\u2019s also an electronic limited-slip differential and a clever dynamic chassis control system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, you\u2019ll get upgraded CUPBucket seats with sharp-looking 3D knitting, and a variety of 3D-printed elements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loads of interior technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All models get a large central screen as standard <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Four specifications of Raval will be there to choose from – Raval, Raval Plus, Endurance and VZ – but they\u2019ll all come with lots of standard equipment. All cars will get a 10.5-inch digital driver\u2019s display, for instance, as well as a 12.9-inch infotainment screen which gets all key functions and smartphone mirroring systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Raval will also be available with four Launch Editions for some extra personalisation. Dynamic, Dynamic Plus and Extreme add extra features such as heated seats, additional ambient lighting or a panoramic sunroof, depending on which one you choose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top-tier practicality\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Raval has been designed to be compact. At four metres long, it\u2019s shorter than a Volkswagen ID.3<\/a> and only slightly longer than the Renault 5<\/a>, a car which this CUPRA<\/a> has in its sights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this, the Raval can still offer a 411-litre boot, alongside decent levels of head and legroom for those sitting in the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
