{"id":624,"date":"2012-02-08T09:53:56","date_gmt":"2012-02-08T09:53:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cars.rankingsolutions.com\/news\/?p=624"},"modified":"2014-01-10T09:55:24","modified_gmt":"2014-01-10T09:55:24","slug":"vauxhall-unveils-new-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ukcarline.co.uk\/news\/vauxhall-unveils-new-models\/","title":{"rendered":"Vauxhall unveils new models"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vauxhall has announced it will use the 2012 International Motor Show in Geneva to showcase a pair of new autos that may appeal to prospective <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukcarline.com\/\">car leasing<\/a> customers, as well as a &#8220;groundbreaking&#8221; concept vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to its UK launch this summer, the 280PS Astra VXR will appear at the automotive event, offering crowds the opportunity to check out the carmaker&#8217;s latest model in the hot hatch category.<\/p>\n<p>Delegates at the expo can also look forward to seeing the new Vauxhall Mokka, the manufacturer&#8217;s first ever small sports utility vehicle that offers motorists a choice of front and four-wheel drive.<\/p>\n<p>However, attendees may be more excited to hear about the Vauxhall\/Opel RAD e concept vehicle, described by the company as a &#8220;futuristic e-bike&#8221; that sports the same boomerang-shaped features seen on the Ampera and RAK e concept.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes just a matter of weeks after Vauxhall launched its fourth-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicle the HydroGen4 in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>It was unveiled at the UK H2Mobility event, which saw industry stakeholders team up to investigate and develop hydrogen fuel-powered vehicles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vauxhall has announced it will use the 2012 International Motor Show in Geneva to showcase a pair of new autos that may appeal to prospective car leasing customers, as well as a &#8220;groundbreaking&#8221; concept vehicle.
