CUPRA’s Raval revealed – here’s everything you need to know

9th April 2026

After months of teasers, the new CUPRA Raval has been revealed, showcasing this Spanish brand’s future electric ambitions.

Here at UK Carline, we’re big fans of all things CUPRA, from the efficient Born right the way through to the striking Tavascan. The Raval promises to break new ground for the brand, though, and we’ve got all of the details you need to know about it. Let’s take a look.

Fresh new design

The Raval is here to rival the Renault 5

CUPRA has always been known for its daring car design and the Raval is no different. Up front, there are the eye-catching three-zone headlights and an illuminated CUPRA logo. Unlike other logos of this type, the one on the Raval has its outline lit up, so you’ll be able to see that CUPRA sign when the car goes by.

At the rear, we’ve got a full-width lightbar and another illuminated CUPRA logo which, at the back, is completely lit up in red. It helps to give the whole car a very futuristic look.

Variety of battery and motor options

There are some intricate alloy wheel designs available

The Raval will hit the road later this year with a variety of battery and motor combinations available to buyers. For starters, you’ve got the choice of either a 37kWh or 52kWh battery, with the latter bringing a range of up to 280 miles.

There are also four power outputs to choose from, going from 114bhp to 223bhp in the ‘hot’ VZ model – but more on that shortly.

Range-topping VZ model

3D-printed sections are used across the car

As well as that high power output, the range-topping Raval VZ will also get a host of sporty tweaks to make it even more engaging to drive than the standard model. Alongside a specific engine tune, the VZ will get a 15mm drop in ride height, as well as a wider track to accommodate larger tyres and help improve cornering. There’s also an electronic limited-slip differential and a clever dynamic chassis control system.

Inside, you’ll get upgraded CUPBucket seats with sharp-looking 3D knitting, and a variety of 3D-printed elements.

Loads of interior technology

All models get a large central screen as standard

Four specifications of Raval will be there to choose from – Raval, Raval Plus, Endurance and VZ – but they’ll all come with lots of standard equipment. All cars will get a 10.5-inch digital driver’s display, for instance, as well as a 12.9-inch infotainment screen which gets all key functions and smartphone mirroring systems.

The Raval will also be available with four Launch Editions for some extra personalisation. Dynamic, Dynamic Plus and Extreme add extra features such as heated seats, additional ambient lighting or a panoramic sunroof, depending on which one you choose.

Top-tier practicality

A 411 litre boot means the Raval offers lots of practicality

The Raval has been designed to be compact. At four metres long, it’s shorter than a Volkswagen ID.3 and only slightly longer than the Renault 5, a car which this CUPRA has in its sights.

Despite this, the Raval can still offer a 411-litre boot, alongside decent levels of head and legroom for those sitting in the back.

The new CUPRA Raval looks set to be one of the most exciting cars to arrive in 2026 and we’ll keep you posted about its availability here at UK Carline. If you’d like to get in on the CUPRA action beforehand, though, then check out our current range today.
