We’ve got another exciting brand-new electric vehicle to check out here at UK Carline from an equally fresh manufacturer. Introducing the Changan Deepal S07. It’s one of the latest electric SUVs to arrive on the scene and aims to deliver a whole lot of range, a high level of technology and an innovative design.

It’s got plenty of range and performance to offer
One of the main talking points about any electric vehicle is range. Changan’s Deepal S07 will manage up to 295 miles from a single charge and, thanks to a punchy electric motor, it’ll go from 0-60mph in just under eight seconds, too.
Kitted out with a 79kWh battery, the Deepal S07 can be rapid charged from 10 to 80 per cent in around 35 minutes. Plus, all cars get an efficiency-boosting heat pump, which can help to extract the best possible range from this car regardless of the outside temperatures.
There’s loads of technology on board
Changan has brimmed the Deepal S07 with the very latest technology. It’s all headed up by a 15.6-inch ‘sunflower’ display, which can be rotated towards either the driver or passenger depending on the situation. It’s within this screen that you’ll find all of your main media and navigation functions, too.
All cars get a wireless smartphone charger, too, alongside a 64-colour ambient lighting system and keyless entry, among other features.
Safety assistance features come as standard
You’ll find a variety of cutting-edge safety systems fitted to the Deepal S07, too. Highlights include forward collision warning, automatic emergency brake and lane keep assist, as well as adaptive cruise control.
A driver fatigue monitoring system can detect whether the person behind the wheel is struggling to concentrate on the road ahead, while blind spot detection will ensure that you’re always notified if there is a vehicle in your blind spot.
Plenty of comfort-focused features
It’s always nice to have a few creature comforts when you’re on the road, isn’t it? The Changan Deepal S07 comes equipped with premium features such as front seats which are both heated and ventilated, ensuring that you’re always comfortable no matter the conditions.
Those front seats are electrically adjustable, too, while a multifunction steering wheel gives you quick access to a variety of settings and features. The cabin is brightened up with a standard-fit panoramic sunroof, too.
Exterior personalisation
You’ve got plenty of scope for personalisation in the Deepal S07. There are five exterior colours to choose from, ranging from Lunar Grey to eye-catching Sunset Orange, giving you a good range of colourways to get the S07 looking just as you’d like it.
Other exterior highlights include full LED lighting at front and rear, electric door handles which close flush into the car’s bodywork and auto-folding wing mirrors.
