What cars does KGM have to offer?
Have you ever heard of KGM? Well, you’ll probably recognise the firm’s previous name, SsangYong, which has rebranded itself.
KGM has been selling cars in the UK for over two decades now and has built up a reputation for building affordable, tough and well-equipped SUVs, family cars and commercial vehicles.
KGM stands for ‘KG Mobility’ and replaced the old SsangYong name back in 2022, but that doesn’t mean the cars have gone away, in fact, the company now offers more models than ever before here in the UK, but what are they?
We’ve compiled a list of the current KGM model line-up to see what this Korean firm has to offer – and there’s loads of KGM goodness to check out here at UK CarLine, too.
Tivoli

Did you know that the name ‘Tivoli’ is actually ‘I love it’ spelt backwards
The Tivoli is the firm’s smallest model and has been around since 2015. It’s a compact crossover that rivals the likes of the Renault Captur and Nissan Juke.
Under the bonnet, there is a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 161bhp and 280Nm of torque, while manual and automatic transmissions are available.
There is just one trim level, which is the ‘K40’ and includes standard equipment such as dual-zone climate control, a rear view camera, 18-inch black alloy wheels and a nine-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Korando

The Korando is the firm’s midsize SUV, built to take on the Kia Sportage and Skoda Karoq.
The Korando is a practical and versatile choice for families offering a 551-litre boot capacity and a towing capability of up to 1,500kg.
Under the bonnet, the car comes with the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine found in the Tivoli, which produces 161bhp and 280Nm of torque. Also, there is the option of manual and automatic transmissions.
Just like its smaller sibling, the Korando is only available in one flavour, which is the ‘K35’ specification. All models come fitted as standard with a heated steering wheel, leather seats, 19-inch black alloy wheels and a nine-inch infotainment screen.
Torres/Torres EVX

The Torres is the more rough and ready SUV model in the firm’s line-up, which features a massive boot capacity of up to 1,661 litres with the rear seats folded down and a towing weight of 1,500kg.
The Torres rivals cars such as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Peugeot 5008 and comes equipped with KGM’s renowned 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 161bhp and 260Nm of torque. All models come as standard with an automatic gearbox and there is the option of an all-wheel drive variant which produces the same power and torque as the two-wheel drive models.
In terms of equipment, there is the entry-level ‘K30’ which includes leather seats, a heated steering wheel and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, while the flagship ‘K40’ model boasts 20-inch alloy wheels, a powered tailgate and premium leather upholstery. The all-wheel drive model is only available on the top-of-the-line K40 trim and is priced from £41,749.
The Torres is also available as an electric vehicle with the Torres EVX.
Underneath, the car is equipped with a 73.4kWh battery with an electric motor to give a claimed range of up to 287 miles on a single charge. In terms of power, this setup produces 204bhp and 339Nm of torque.
The entry-level ‘K30’ features 18-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The flagship ‘K40’ adds 20-inch wheels, a powered tailgate and a 3D surround view camera.
Actyon

The Actyon is the latest addition to the KGM model line-up and is a coupe-esque premium SUV designed to take on the likes of the MG HS and Nissan Qashqai.
Under the bonnet, the car is only available with one engine, which is the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 161bhp and 280Nm of torque. The Actyon is only available with an automatic transmission.
There is only one trim level too, which is the ‘K50’ and is priced at £38,649. Standard equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.
The Actyon is also practical with a 668-litre boot capacity and 1,568 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Rexton/Commercial

The Rexton is one of KGM’s longest-serving models, having been around since 2001.
The current iteration has been on sale since 2017 and has received a few nips and tucks over the years.
The Rexton comes with seven seats as standard and focuses on being a family workhorse, designed to cope with punishing day-to-day life.
Under the bonnet, the car is fitted with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 199bhp and 441Nm of torque.
All models come with an automatic gearbox and there are two trim levels available with the entry-level ‘K30’ model featuring equipment such as dual-zone climate control, a heated leather steering wheel and LED headlights. The top-of-the-line ‘K50’ boasts extras such as a sunroof, Nappa leather seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and third row-seat air conditioning controls.
There is also a Rexton Commercial variant, which is a two-seater car-derived van, which features a full mesh rear bulkhead, metal rear windows and a 2,200-litre load capacity. It also features selectable four-wheel drive with a low ratio gearbox and the vehicle has a payload of more than 700kg.
Musso

The Musso is KGM’s entry into the pick-up market, which rivals the likes of the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger.
The Musso is equipped with a 2.2-litre diesel engine that pumps out 199bhp and 400Nm of torque.
It comes with a Double Cab body style as standard, making it more versatile to carry passengers and there are several trim levels available.
The Musso is available with a manual transmission; however, you’ll have to go for the entry-level model, as the rest of the range features an automatic gearbox as standard.
The range kicks off with the ‘Rebel’ which features heated front seats, a rear view camera and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The mid-level ‘Saracen’ adds cruise control, 18-inch black alloy wheels and electrically-adjustable ventilated front seats.
Flagship ‘Saracen+’ cars boast all of the equipment of the standard Saracen, alongside a rear view camera and heated front and rear seats.
