Land Rover named Carmarker of the Year

A Land Rover car leasing scheme could not only help motorists and businesses save money, but will put drivers behind the wheel of some of the UK’s top vehicles.

The manufacturer has been named as Carmarker of the Year at the Motor Trader Awards and Land Rover believes the honour is in recognition of both the quality of cars it produces and its business performance.

In recent years, the firm has tried to tailor its new designs to meet the needs of the modern-day driver, with engineers very aware of motorists’ requirements in terms of style, practicality and sustainability.

Land Rover’s UK marketing director Laura Schwab said: “We highly value this award as it reflects not only what we are achieving with our developing product range, but importantly the investment we have made in building a sound and profitable commercial platform, too.”

Curtis Hutchinson, the editor of Motor Trader said the manufacturer was a worthy winner.

“Land Rover is a brand on the move. Sales have been rising in a tough market since 2010, thanks to a range of compelling vehicles and the addition of the hugely popular Evoque,” he added.

The Evoque has been the recipient of numerous awards since it was introduced to the UK market.

It has a list price of £29,640 for the 2.2 eD4 Pure 3dr 2WD diesel coupe version, but these up front costs can be offset by contract hire.

Leasing the car costs just £395.42 a month and for that price drivers get to take advantage of Land Rover’s award-winning manufacturing.

The powerhouse engine is capable of shifting the sturdy car from a standing start to 62 mph in just over ten seconds, but it also manages to produce carbon dioxide emission of less than 130 grams per kilometre.

Inside, the Evoque retains the high standards with USB connections and steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls.
