Already grabbing up the International Pick-up of the year award, the all new Nissan NP300 Navara is set to hit the UK in January 2016. It’ll come in five distinct trim ranges: Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, N-Connecta and Tekna – and you’ll be able to tailor your vehicle to suit the toughest job or most demanding lifestyle.
“The Nissan NP300 Navara is a strong product offer in terms of innovative technology, superior on-road and off-road capabilities, engine performance and payload capacity.” – James Wright, Managing Director of Nissan Motor
How Does it Compare?
Pretty darned well: Nissan have compared it to the brand new Mitsubishi L200 and say it’s more powerful, has better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. It can carry a combined payload of 1,047kg with a loadbed of 2.46m2, and a fantastic 3,500kg towing capacity.
Nissan NP300 Navara Key Features
The Nissan NP300 Navara gives you plenty of pickup for your money: the whole range gets Bluetooth, USB etc. connectivity with steering wheel mounted audio controls; all the safety and security features you and your passengers could possibly need; remote central locking and automatic headlights with Follow Me Home.
Go for the entry level Visia and you’ll get 16″ steel wheels, rear diff-lock (a cost option on higher trims), and a cloth interior. Step up to the Acenta and you’ll get 16″ alloy wheels, chrome body details, cruise control, and Nissan Intelligent Key with start push-button.
Acenta+ is when the Nissan NP300 Navara starts to lean nearer to a luxury SUV: 18″ alloys, rear privacy glass, automatic dual-zone climate control, leather steering wheel and rear parking camera. Step up to the N-Connecta and you get NissanConnect 2.0 7″ touchscreen sat-nav and entertainment system with rear parking camera, Smartphone App integration, traffic updates and Bluetooth audio streaming.
Last, but not least, the top spec Tekna gets leather upholstery, roof rails, heated front seats, rear parking sensors and a 360o camera.
