The new Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG

Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the release of its latest model – the S 65 AMG.

This model is the only car that has the high-performance 12-cylinder from the premium German manufacturer. Mercedes-Benz has managed to craft a vehicle that oozes class and sophistication but doesn’t disappoint in terms of power and performance either.

Its twelve cylinders, twin-turbocharging, 630 hp of output and 1000 Newton-metres of torque gives it enviable performance stats. The new S 65 AMG has set the standard for the most powerful vehicle in its area of the market.

Mercedes-Benz has also managed to produce a car that has all this power but is also eco-friendly. Its reduced fuel consumption and compliance with the EU 6 exhaust emissions standard, it is a model that appeals to all factors of driving.

Tobias Moers, chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, said: “Supreme exclusivity and incomparable dynamism provide the guarantee of a high fascination potential. With the third generation of the S 65 AMG, we offer our loyal and discerning V12 customers a unique high-performance automobile.” The AMG sports suspension comes as standard with road surface scan – the world’s first suspension that actually sees what you’re doing. The S 65 AMG gives the driver a premium level of design and equipment specification, with the head-up display and touchpad further demonstrating that comfort is a top priority for the company’s design team.

Mercedes-Benz gave the AMG a six-litre V12 biturbo engine, which gives the driver 630 hp, allowing the car to outperform all other vehicles in its segment. This superiority is echoed in the car’s performance as it can accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph (electronically limited).

The 12-cylinder biturbo engine gives it the ability to effortlessly accelerate no matter what speed it is at.

In short: the S 65 AMG impresses on all levels with its superiority, especially as it meets the EU6 emissions standard, which is not due to come into force until 2015, keeping drivers ahead of the game and competition.
