The UK’s first virtual motor show will appear on the Telegraph’s website on April 29th, featuring Kia, Vauxhall, Volvo, Audi, Alfa Romeo, and Goodwood. Participating manufacturers will appear at the event via a virtual hub. The groundbreaking event will offer a unique experience for consumers and companies alike.
Designed by the Telegraph Media Group (TMG), the event will be held on a dedicated online channel from April 29th to May 3rd.
Head of motoring at TMG, Erin Baker, said: “We’re incredibly excited by this innovative approach to a motor show that you can access from anywhere. With the UK now the second largest market in Europe, there’s never been a better time to launch an online motor show, as more and more research into cars and the buying process are performed via the web”.
The virtual festival is designed to appeal to the online buyer and leaser’s market. Interactive webchats, webinars with manufacturer personnel and online networking lounges will be a key part of the festival to promote interactivity between consumers and some of the biggest companies in the automotive industry. The event will also feature virtual stands and online car show rooms offering expert advice for potential buyers.
Ms Baker added: “The Telegraph Festival of Motoring will add to the car-buying experience, featuring exclusive webinars with acknowledged Telegraph Motoring experts such as Honest John, Andrew English and James Foxall”.
