Businesses and individuals may decide to upgrade their current Citroen Nemo van leasing contracts to include the new Euro 5 model with stop-and-start technology.
The manufacturer has announced the Citroen Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX, which it claimed produces lower emissions and is more economical to drive, with a CO2 output of 109 g/km.
This is a 3.54 per cent reduction when compared to the manual Euro 5 model, which produces 113 g/km of CO2.
As such, van leasing clients who would like to reduce fuel fleet costs may look to the new Citroen Nemo as an alternative.
“It enables hard pressed businesses to provide their drivers with the comfort and convenience of two-pedal driving, while gaining from additional fuel efficiency and emissions benefits,” commented commercial vehicle (CV) operations manager of the manufacturer Scott Michael.
At next month’s CV Show 2011 in Birmingham, Citroen is set to display vans including the Berlingo HDi 90 manual L1 625 XTR+, the Relay 35 HDi 120 6-speed manual L3 Luton and the Dispatch HDi 120 6-speed manual L2H1 1200 Enterprise, as well as the new Nemo.
