Car leasing news: Renault Scenic picks up Best MPV award

JonathanMarch 10, 2011

The Renault Scenic triumphed in the Best MPV (multi-person vehicle) category at the awards, taking the title for 2011.

Dan Strong, editor at the website, explained why the French automaker’s model was a hit with the judges.

“It is the car that started the compact MPV revolution – and it’s still leading from the front,” he stated.

Car leasing customers may be interested to note his comments that it also offers great value for money and is a good option for families.

Meanwhile, the SEAT Alhambra was named as the Best Large MPV by the website, which noted that its seven seats and large boot means it is “spacious and practical inside”.

Mr Strong added that using engines sourced from Volkswagen for the vehicle also makes it “incredibly fuel-efficient” and means it is equipped with stop/start technology.

People with large families who are looking for car leasing deals may want to consider the merits of the SEAT Alhambra following the award win.
