More details have emerged about the line-up at this year’s EV & Low CO2 Fleet Show at Silverstone.
Among the new cars that will be unveiled at the event is Citroen’s highly-acclaimed 200bhp DS5 Hybrid4, which aims to prove that the choice to lower fuel costs and reduce environmental impact does not need to affect performance.
Despite the power, the car will still produce carbon dioxide emissions of less than 100 grams per kilometre and has a fuel consumption of 74.3 mpg.
Citroën UK’s fleet director, Andy Wady, said: “DS5 Hybrid4 really does offer the best of all worlds. It’s stylish, exciting to drive, tax-efficient and environmentally friendly – a car that we believe will establish itself as a real landmark in fleet.”
Drivers who want to get behind the wheel of the new vehicle could opt to use it as part of a car leasing scheme, which will have the added benefit of reducing upfront costs – something that can put many businesses off hybrid cars.
