A striking new edition of the popular Punto supermini has just been announced by Fiat. The limited edition Punto Jet Black is available to drivers, but should be snapped up quickly as there are only 300 on the market.
The Jet Black model is a darker version of the sporty Punto, which is one of Europe’s top-selling vehicles.
The brand new Punto features a 1.4 8v 77hp engine, 17 inch 12-spoke smoked Sportline alloy wheels, jet black badging and an eye-catching coat of paint. The exterior is coated with black metallic paint and, for added intrigue, has a couple of matte black stripes that run from the front to the boot of the car. Punto Jet Black’s name says it all – the exterior is designed to look dark, moody and mysterious.
Fiat’s new make is meant to appeal to a young and sport audience.
Elena Bernardelli, marketing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said: “The Punto Jet Black has striking black exterior details which will certainly get you noticed. With its distinctive styling, comprehensive specification and affordable pricing, I am sure it will be very popular with younger customers”.
The Punto Jet Black’s standard specification includes body coloured rear spoiler and side skirts, dark tinted privacy glass, and leather gear knob and steering wheel. Fiat Puntos, Jet Black or otherwise, are fitted with automatic climate control, electric front windows, rear parking sensors, sports suspension, adaptive cornering fog lights, Start & Stop, five airbags, cruise control, and voice-controlled Blue&Me multimedia system.
Try the much-loved Fiat Punto for yourself. UK Carline is offering an excellent car leasing deal for the model, with personal leasing rates for the Fiat Punto Hatchback starting at £165.18 per month. The supermini gets great gas mileage: 54.3 MPG. Don’t worry about emissions in the Punto, either – its CO2 emission rate is 123 g/km. It’s obvious why the Punto is a bestselling car in the UK, it’s great value for money, looks stylish and contemporary and is ecologically responsible to boot.
