Jeep’s Avenger has returned – here’s what you need to know about this new model

UK Carline27th May 2026

The Avenger may have only launched back in 2023, but Jeep has already introduced a series of updates to keep it sharp.

Jeep’s Avenger was one of the hottest cars of 2023. When it launched, it quickly gained rave reviews and was even named European Car of the Year by judges. We’re big fans of the Avenger here at UK Carline, too, and it’s one of our most popular compact crossovers. But the car world moves quickly and in order to keep up, Jeep has launched a revised version of the Avenger.

With a bold new look and lots more features underneath, the new Avenger has loads to offer. But what do you need to know about it? Let’s take a look.

New design

While the overall design of the Avenger has been kept similar to the original, it has been spruced up in a variety of areas. For instance, you’ll find that the famous Jeep grille is now illuminated for a more imposing look at night, while new 17- and 18-inch wheel designs are available.

Two new exterior colours – Forest and Bamboo – join the existing colour palette for the Avenger.

Fresh Interior

Jeep has aimed to push the Avenger more upmarket by equipping the interior with high-quality materials. The door panels, for instance, are finished in a softer finish, while the lower dashboard gets a padded insert. Put together, it helps to make the interior of the Avenger feel a little more special.

As before, you’ll still find plenty of space to play with. There’s a 380-litre boot to handle all of your kit and Jeep says that you’ll find 34 litres of storage dotted throughout the cabin to help keep things as tidy as possible.

Lots of equipment

The original Avenger launched with a comprehensive list of standard equipment and that’s no different for this updated car. In fact, the new Avenger now gets full LED headlights as standard, alongside high-end features such as automatic headlights, keyless start and cruise control. Air conditioning is equipped on all models, too.

In the middle of the dashboard sits a 10.25-inch infotainment system incorporating both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It can accept over-the-air updates, too, ensuring that the system is always at its sharpest. A new Jeep Mobile App allows you to remotely check on the location of your car, unlock and lock it, and even schedule charging and climate functions on electric models.

Variety of powertrain options

One crucial area where the new Avenger has changed is under the bonnet. While you can still get it with an electric setup, bringing a range of up to 248 miles and with a hybrid system which combines a compact petrol engine with an electric motor and battery, it’ll now be available with a standard three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.

It means that the Avenger is now available with a trio of powertrain options: electric, hybrid and pure petrol. The new petrol engine is predicted to bring the starting price for the Avenger down, too, helping to make this model more affordable overall.

We’re expecting further details surrounding the Avenger to be announced later this year and when we have them, we’ll be the first to let you know here at UK Carline. If you can’t wait for the new Avenger to arrive, then we’ve got deals on the excellent original, so check them out today to see which version could work for you.
