People looking for a new hybrid car may be interested in the Lexus CT 200h, which is set to be available to UK drivers from the end of this year.
Car Dealer Magazine reported that the company is already planning its communication strategy and revealed that the automaker may offer its latest model on a “competitive car leasing deal to win attention for the car”.
The publication added that CAP has predicted strong retained values (RV) for the vehicle – giving it an RV figure of 41 per cent, which is only marginally behind the Audi A3.
One group that the company may decide to target with its hybrid vehicle is the business sector. This is because the low CO2 emissions earn the car “a very competitive benefit in kind figure”, the news provider noted.
Lexus describes the CT 200h as “the world’s first full hybrid luxury compact car”. The Lexus hybrid vehicle combines electric and petrol power, with motorists having the option of driving the car in electric vehicle mode to take advantage of zero emissions and reduce fuel consumption.
