Car leasing customers who frequently travel at night in the Rugby and Daventry area could face journey disruption next week due to roadworks.
The Highways Agency is planning to put new cats’ eyes along a stretch of the M45 and A45, along with renewing the road markings.
In all, 16 miles of the carriageway should see at least some work take place between Monday June 20th and Monday June 27th.
Project manager Mark Braithwaite says: “This essential scheme is to renew road markings and studs.
“Although all work has been scheduled to take place outside of peak hours, we would advise motorists to plan their journeys accordingly.”
Peak disruption should be at times of low traffic, between 20:00 and 06:00 BST.
However, car leasing customers in need of an alternative route west from the Rugby area may want to consider the A428 towards Coventry, depending on where the disruptions occur on any given date.
