Vauxhall’s determination to provide for the UK’s fleet sector has seen the company pick up yet another award.
This time, the manufacturer has been named Fleet Manufacturer of the Year at Northern Ireland’s UTV Business Eye Awards 2012.
Vauxhall was deemed to be better than the competition for a number of reasons, with judges particularly impressed by the way it consistently offers the best range of fleet vehicles to the business sector.
Factors such as benefit in kind taxation, carbon dioxide emissions and fuel economy are evidently at the forefront of its design process, yet they have not had an adverse effect on the cars’ costs or desirability.
The judging panel consisted of a number of corporate experts including UTV’s business correspondent Jamie Delargy and Business Eye editor Richard Buckley, as well as the business editors of Northern Ireland’s two main morning newspapers – Gary McDonald from the Irish News and News Letter’s Adrienne McGill.
More than 400 guests were in attendance at the award ceremony, which has now become an important date in the Northern Ireland business calendar.
James Taylor, Vauxhall’s fleet sales director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be named Fleet Manufacturer of the Year at the UTV Business Eye Awards.
“Vauxhall understands the product requirements of its fleet customers and will continue in its commitment to delivering them to market.”
With more advancements in the future planned by Vauxhall, firms could look to use contract hire to get the most out of these developments.
The advantages of a Vauxhall car leasing deal are numerous, but the main benefit is that it allows businesses to bypass the high upfront costs associated with purchasing fleet vehicles outright.
For instance, the five-door Corsa Hatchback 1.2 Exclusiv is one of the manufacturer’s most popular models and it is currently available for just £109.99 a month – substantially less than its basic list price of £12,205.00.
