Volkswagen launch its new Golf Estate

JonathanJuly 1, 2013

The Volkswagen Golf is one of the most popular cars ever making the decision to lease a new model relatively common.

However, the deal has just been sweetened as Volkswagen are opening orders for their brand new Golf Estate which has all of the benefits of the effortlessly cool Golf Hatchback, with almost twice the space.

The Golf Estate’s loadspace volume has increased from the 505 litres of its predecessor to 605 litres, against the 380 litre of the Golf hatchback there is just no comparison.

However, once the rear-seat backrests are folded down, this capacity increases to an incredible 1,620 litres. To make this even easier, the backrests can be folded down remotely via a release in the boot.

This new model is available with four petrol engine options and three diesel engines, so there is something for every type of driver.

If you can’t wait for the new model, you can get your hands on the current Golf Estate for as little as £239.42 per month.

The Volkswagen Golf Diesel Estate 1.6 TDi S 5dr is available on a business lease with UK Carline for under £240 per month, excluding VAT, for a 48 month contract. For this you can benefit from up to 62.8 miles per gallon and CO2 emissions of just 119g/km, making this one of the most efficient estates you can drive.

But for an extra £32 you could upgrade to the Volkswagen Golf Diesel Estate 1.6 TDI 105 BlueMotion Tech Sportline 5dr which comes with a load more tech and is available on a personal lease agreement. If you lease the car through a business, its available for just £271.60 per month, while a personal lease will cost closer to £325.92 per month.

For that price you get fuel efficiency of up to 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 109 g/km. This model also comes with cruise control, rear and front parking sensors and a DAB digital radio.
