A green motoring festival taking place in London this autumn may offer inspiration for those seeking environmentally-friendly car leasing options.
EcoVelocity will run from September 8th to 11th at Battersea Power Station – pending permission from the authorities – and will see a host of new vehicles showcased by manufacturers, including low-emission, hybrid and electric cars.
Children will be catered for in the form of a number of special events, making the festival ideal for the whole family.
For adults, test drives will be available and one area of the festival that might prove particularly popular is the Green Supercar Paddock, where visitors can find out about the new breed of eco-friendly supercars that are turning environmentally conscious driving into a high-powered experience.
“[EcoVelocity] is going to be of great interest to motorists learning what the industry has to offer them right now and in the future,” said Giles Brown, founder and organiser of the event.
The festival may be particularly timely in light of new Low Emission Zone standards that are set to come into place in London from January 3rd 2012, mainly affecting large vans, minibuses, coaches, buses and HGVs.
