Those who rely on their vans for work purposes may want to switch to models made by Citroen, as the company has already started winning awards this year.
Businesses and individuals with van leasing agreements may find that it is easier to change to a Citroen model than those who own their own vehicles.
The French automobile manufacturer recently picked up the 2012 What Van? Innovation Award for its approach to its commercial vehicles sector.
At the heart of its philosophy is the Business Class van range, which delivers models that are compatible with the new Euro V standard and have fuel economy which has improved by 19 per cent.
“This programme has also seen the fuel efficiency and emissions of the Citroën LCV range further improve, which in turn has resulted in this significant number of prestigious 2011 awards,” said Scott Michael, the company’s commercial vehicles manager.
As part of its recent efficiency upgrades, Citroen added Airdream technology to its Berlingo range.
