Toyota Hilux: X Rated and Invincible.

Remember a few years ago when Top Gear tried to destroy a Hilux? They set it on fire, left it in the sea overnight, and even demolished a building on it. The Hilux still survived and came back for more. A Hilux took Jeremy Clarkson and James May to the magnetic North Pole (making them the first people to drive there). Top Gear have kept on showing us what we already know – the Hilux is Invincible. Now Toyota have released their top model: the Hilux Invincible X.

As you can see from our little gallery, it’s probably the best looking Hilux ever – and the healthy range of customisation options let you make it into a pick-up that is truly yours.

The Hilux Invincible X gives you the choice of four different 17” alloy wheels (pictured are Rica alloys with matte black finish), and a further four choices of leather interior (pictured is the simple black leather finish).

Still want more? We’re anticipating the Style Pack (pictured) to be a popular choice – adding chrome garnish to door handles, lamp clusters and the bonnet air intake. The Style Pack also features aluminium-finished scuff plates, silver coloured under-run and a front guard.

The Style Pack not for you? The alternative is to give your Hilux Invincible X a rugged purpose with a chrome Hi-Over Bar (also pictured). You can also add an optional chrome side bar, which can be swapped for chrome side steps for a more convenient alternative.

Aside from the plush leather interior as standard, the Hilux Invincible X comes exclusively as a Double Cab with the Toyota Touch 2 Multimedia System, allowing Bluetooth, MP3 and iPod connectivity; and satellite navigation as an optional extra. Rear-view parking camera, rear privacy glass, climate & cruise control, headlamp cleaners, automatic lights, fog lights and an alarm all come as standard too. For the safety conscious, there’s front and side airbags and vehicle stability control.

What’s under the bonnet? Only the very best, of course: Toyota’s 169bhp 3.0 litre diesel D-4D engine. Your choice of automatic (at extra cost) or five speed manual transmission. Four wheel drive is standard, as is auto-disconnecting differential, and it can tow 2.8 tonnes.

The Hilux Invincible is dependable, versatile and practical; the Invincible X takes the best mould and makes it even better. Do we have your curiosity? Click here to enquire today, and we’ll get your attention.
